Family Portrait

A friend of mine asked me if I’d be interested in doing a family portrait of him, his wife and their new little boy…who they figured was now old enough to cooperate for a formal portrait type situation. It didn’t help that it was the hottest day of the year (Labor Day weekend 2007), but everyone did fine and we got some fun images. Featured here is the image they chose to be printed. Dad later told me it made his mom cry when he gave her a print for Christmas that year.
